Regional issue

• In order to promote “co-creation town development” as set forth in the city’s basic concept and plan,there is insufficient framework for all stakeholders from industry, academia, government, and citizen to share the desired form of the city, the process to realize it, and policy issues to focus on.
• In particular, young people are not sufficiently participating in community planning with conventional methods.

Purpose and Outline

• We will create an environment in which various entities involved in community development,including citizens who play a leading role in community development, can participate as “jibungoto” with interest in co-creation.
• In addition, we aim to implement a business model in Chofu City that can be expanded laterally to local governments in Tokyo, which have issues related to proactive participation by a wide range of citizens and improvement of citizen satisfaction.

Goal

Aim to build an environment in which various citizens and organizations can have an interest in city government and achieve “co-creation town development” unique to Chofu
